| Status Hub status page | 50 USD per page a month | Enterprise includes 3 pages with 500 subscribers each |
| Stakeholder users | 5 USD per user a month | For people who receive updates but are not on call |
| Service status notifications | 100 USD a month | Listed as an add-on on Free and Standard |

| Live call routing minutes | 100 minutes free per account, then 0.10 USD a minute in the US and Canada, 0.35 USD in most other countries | Applies to inbound hotline calls |
AlertOps says there are no overage charges for SMS, voice and API calls inside each tier. The per-minute charge is on the live call routing hotline, which is a separate feature from paging.
Is AlertOps free?
Yes, for up to 5 users. The free plan includes basic alert routing, 3 escalation policies, more than 200 integrations and 125 SMS plus 25 voice notifications a month shared by the whole account in the US and Canada (75 SMS outside). On-call scheduling as a feature starts on Standard, so a free account suits a very small team that pages one person at a time.
What does AlertOps cost for 5, 15 and 40 users?
Monthly cost at yearly list prices. Every user is on call. The status page rows add one Status Hub page at 50 USD a month; Enterprise includes three.
| Setup | 5 users | 15 users | 40 users |
|---|---|---|---|
| AlertOps Free | 0 USD | Not available above 5 | Not available |
| AlertOps Standard | 40 USD | Not available above 10 | Not available |
| AlertOps Premium | 90 USD | 270 USD | 720 USD |
| AlertOps Premium plus one Status Hub page | 140 USD | 320 USD | 770 USD |
| AlertOps Premium plus OpsIQ | 689 USD | 869 USD | 1,319 USD |
| AlertOps Enterprise (OpsIQ and 3 status pages included) | 140 USD | 420 USD | 1,120 USD |
| IncidentBot Starter (1 public status page included) | 120 USD | 360 USD | 960 USD |
| IncidentBot Team (3 public or private pages, unlimited SMS and voice) | 245 USD | 735 USD | 1,960 USD |
Read it honestly. AlertOps is cheaper than IncidentBot at every size for paging alone, and cheaper with one status page added. Two details are worth knowing before you sign. First, a team of 11 cannot stay on Standard, so the per-seat price more than doubles at the eleventh user. Second, if you want OpsIQ, Enterprise is cheaper than Premium plus the 599 USD add-on for any team under 60 users, because the add-on is a flat monthly fee.
Where the message allowance bites
Premium and Enterprise include 25 SMS and 25 phone notifications per user a month. For a rotation where one engineer carries the pager for a week, a noisy week can use a month of that engineer's phone calls. AlertOps states there is no overage charge, so ask how notifications behave once a user's allowance is used up before you rely on voice paging for SEV1 alerts. On IncidentBot, Team and Business include unlimited SMS and voice paging under a fair use policy, and Starter includes 100 per user.
Is AlertOps cheaper than PagerDuty?
Yes, at list price. Per user per month, checked on each vendor's site in September and October 2026:
| Tool | Entry paid price | Upper published plan | Status page | Free plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| AlertOps | 8 USD yearly, 10 monthly (Standard, up to 10 users) | 28 USD yearly (Enterprise) | Status Hub, 50 USD per page a month; 3 included on Enterprise | Up to 5 users |
| PagerDuty | 21 USD yearly, 25 monthly (Professional) | 41 USD yearly, 49 monthly (Business) | Sold separately | Up to 5 users |
| xMatters | 15 USD (Starter, up to 25 users) | 39 USD (Base) | Advanced plan only, by quote | Up to 5 users |
| IncidentBot | 24 USD yearly, 49 monthly (Starter) | 99 USD yearly (Business) | 1 public page on Starter, 3 public or private on Team | No free plan, incident simulator without an account |
AlertOps Premium at 18 USD costs less than PagerDuty Professional and includes SSO and live call routing. PagerDuty's add-ons have no public prices; see PagerDuty pricing for what is published. xMatters caps its cheapest paid plan at 25 users and keeps status pages on a quoted plan, covered in xMatters pricing.
When IncidentBot is worth the higher seat price
AlertOps is built around alerting and IT operations: routing, escalation, a phone hotline and integrations with ITSM tools such as ServiceNow, ConnectWise and BMC. If that is the job, it is hard to beat on price. IncidentBot costs more per seat and spends it on the part after the page: /incident in Slack opens a channel with commander, comms and scribe roles, the comms lead publishes the customer update on a status page app that is part of the plan, and the closed incident becomes a postmortem draft with action items synced to Jira or Linear. Teams that run engineering incidents in Slack and need private status pages for enterprise customers usually land on Team. Our AlertOps alternative page compares the two feature by feature and shows the migration steps.
What to check before you sign an AlertOps quote
- Count users on call in a year from now, not today. Standard stops at 10, and the step to Premium is 8 to 18 USD per user.
- List who needs updates without carrying the pager. At 5 USD each, 40 stakeholders cost as much as 11 Premium seats.
- Decide how many status pages you need and whether any must be private. One Status Hub page costs 600 USD a year; Enterprise includes three.
- If you want OpsIQ, price Enterprise first. Below 60 users it costs less than Premium plus the add-on.
- Ask how paging behaves after a user's 25 SMS and 25 phone notifications in a month are used.
- Pricing pages change without notice. Teams that watch several vendors at renewal time use website change monitoring to catch a new plan or price before the quote arrives.
